But Kokocinski seems unable to rule the ghosts of his imagination. The characters that he has formed are so hostile and reluctant to take a look accomplished. Pirandello’s obsession seems to tip over, Kokocinski’s characters run away from him instead of looking for his creator. Really, we are afraid of their inner life and that they could attack our ability to believe in the magical charm of art in itself. You approach these beings with some worries that goes beyond normal concern placed by the work of art when it has reached its completion. So one can not reflect on the need of “showdown” that Kokocinski has imposed on his creativity and to ourselves. Probably, these recent works, that have assumed the appearance of the titanic struggle between art as artefact and critique as conscious and universal mediation, can allow to everyone to put Kokocinski in the dynamic of our new Century, that is not the time of the inexorable progress and the reassuring technology, but peered through the eyes of those who, in the man so civilized and “modern”, clearly sees the appearance of the wild furiously man intent only on survival and struggle, which are not mentioned in daily news report,or in books, or in “realty show” television only for kind convention.Once again, faced with a creative experience, it is questionable:what is reality?
